Embedded Video
Embedded video systems use a printed circuit board with a processor and embedded Linux operating system instead of a PC. Generally these systems compare equally in performance with PC based systems and have the added benefit of being virtually impervious to internet pathogens such as viruses and worms. However, they are not upgradeable, do not offer more than 4 audio channels and are limited in the number of simultaneous online users. These systems are a good fit for the small to medium size home or business.
